Beginning her professional career at sixteen, Beverley Dunn is one of Australia's best known and experienced actors.

 

Theatrical credits include In Celebration, Little Murders, A Happy and Holy Occasion (Green Room Award), All Souls, Scenes from a Separation, The Sick Room, Hotel Sorrento, Life After George, Sweet Bird of Youth, A Poor Student, The Visit, Humble Boy, Under Milk Wood and Enlightenment.

 

In 2000, Beverley performed the role of Miss Prism in the celebrated production of The Importance of Being Earnest, with Patricia Routledge, touring Australia and playing at The Savoy Theatre, London.

 

Beverley’s solo shows include As We Are (An Anthology of Australian Writing) and her celebrations of Dame Mary Gilmore, To Botany Bay on a Bondi Tram and The Dame on the Ten Dollar Note - most recently performed (2009) for Melbourne Theatre Company.

 

She has played in hundreds of radio plays, both in Australia and for the BBC in London.

 

In addition to many guest roles in television series including Underbelly, All Saints, Neighbours and Prisoner, Beverley played continuing roles in Bellbird (Mary Emerson) and The Flying Doctors (Clare Bryant). Film appearances include Charlie and Boots, Saved, Brilliant Lies, Ground Zero and Beryl Alcott in the acclaimed film Shine.
